Call of Duty: Warzone 2 reached 25 million players in five days

The free-to-play battle royale game Call of Duty: Warzone 2 reached 25 million players five days after its launch. Prior Warzone game had got 30 million players in 10 days, a record that might soon be broken.

The official Call of Duty Twitter account shared the news by thanking the players. Warzone 2 launched with several bugs and player complaints about connection problems. Activision players should receive gifts as compensation for the launch.

The Call of Duty franchise has been having a blast in the last few weeks. Along with Warzone’s success, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has passed $1 billion in sales and is already a contender for the best-selling game of the 2022 title.
