A collaboration will bring Riot Games titles to Xbox Game Pass

As part of the partnership, all Riot Games characters will become free-to-play for Xbox Game Pass subscribers.

Riot Games and Xbox announced that thanks to a partnership, Riot’s games will be available on the Xbox Game Pass platform. The partnership will bring not only Riot’s PC games but its mobile-only and mobile-accessible games as well, which is a first time for the platform.

According to the duo’s statements, the characters in all Riot Games titles will be free to Xbox Game Pass subscribers. Users with a Riot account and Game Pass membership will be able to access rewards and member-exclusive privileges that will apply to all of Riot’s games.

As part of the collaboration, all champions in League of Legends and agents in Valorant will become accessible to Xbox Game Pass users. Riot Games also stated that special deals await players for League of Legends: Wild Rift, Legends of Runeterra and Teamfight Tactics.

The companies stated that players who link their Xbox profiles to their Riot accounts will earn additional in-game rewards. The limited time deals available from December 8, 2022 to January 1, 2023 are listed as follows:

  • Valorant – Pocket Sage Charm
  • League of Legends – Crafted Chest and Key
  • Teamfight Tactics – Rare Tiny Legendary Egg
  • Wild Rift – Random Emote Chest
  • Legends of Runeterra – Prismatic Chest

Xbox Game Pass subscribers will receive a 20% XP bonus on all games. In order to gain access, users only need to link the Xbox app and Riot Games account. Xbox Game Pass exclusive content will be available starting December 13.
