Echtra Games team was acquired by Zynga. This acquisition shows that Zynga, which started working on cross-platform games, is committed to its forward plans.

A new cross-platform game is on the way

Echtra Games, a cross-platform game studio, has proven itself in the action role-playing genre with games such as Diablo, Diablo II and The Torchlight. In addition to its experienced team in this field, it seems that Echtra Games will strengthen Zynga’s cross-platform play future with its cross-platform development technologies built on Unreal Engine.

According to the statements made, the new member of the Zynga family will be developing a new cross-platform game with Zynga’s NaturalMotion studio. Apart from the fact that the game will be in the RPG genre, as can be expected, no detailed information has been announced yet.
