Focus Home Interactive acquires Leikir Studio

This deal makes Leikir the fifth studio that integrates with Focus.

Focus Home Interactive has acquired French developer Leikir Studio for an unrevealed sum.

Leiker Studio comprises around 20 staff and working on Metal Slug Tactics nowadays. Metal Slug Tactics will be published by Leiker partner and Focus associate Dotemu in 2022.

Paris-based company has also released a fantasy roguelike Roguelords in September last year.

This acquisition validates our multi-production strategy and will allow us to reach new qualitative and creative heights. This is great recognition for the work accomplished by our teams over the past several years.”

This deal makes Leikir the fifth studio that integrates with Focus. The other four studios are Dotemu, Shady Part of Me developer Douze-Dixiémes, and Space Hulk: Deathwing creator Streum On. These studios were all acquired last year, with German outfit Deck 13.
