Huawei’s official application distribution platform AppGallery, has launched a special grants initiative for games.
So, Huawei will support the indie developers who use AppGallery.
The support comes with a price pool of €30,000, as well as VIP technical support and a “featured” section for indie games.
Top 30 indie games will receive Huawei Ad Platform credit worth €1,000. Moreover, some will be able to get 85 percent IAP revenue share for the first two years.
AppGallery has over 500 million monthly active users and 2 million registered developers, now. The store, which has been launched in over 170 countries, has become one of the 3 largest app markets in the world, with 18 app categories.
Indie titles published on AppGallery through Unity Distribution Portal, from 19 November to 14 December 2020 could qualify for special grants.

Huawei VP for consumer mobile services in Europe Dr. Jaime Gonzalo claimed the initiative is “an important step in Huawei’s continued commitment and investment in the developer community.”
“The mobile games industry has shown incredible growth over the last few years and we are delighted to be able to support more Indie developers and studios in bringing their games to the market.”
Developers who want to participate in the grant program can create Huawei Developer accounts and submit their games to AppGallery through the Unity Distribution Portal until December 14.
