Istanbul Blockchain Week set to host Web3 heavyweights on November 14-17

IBW will include an NFT Day, W3E Championships; IstanBlock (the main event) will focus on DeFi, DAOs, Web3, Venture Capital, trading and regulation.

Istanbul Blockchain Week (IBW), a major Web3 and digital assets event that takes place in the Eurasia region, will have the Web3 giants in Istanbul. IBW will kick off on the 14th of November with NFT Day. The event will feature four-day-long exciting events and wrap it up on the 17th of November with the main occasion of the week ‘IstanBlock’ at Hilton Bomonti Hotel.

The four-day-long event is putting together a top-notch list of speakers that bridge across Web3. To name a few major attendees; top-tier exchanges Binance and Coinbase, financial services giant Mastercard, one of the largest mobile network operators in the world Vodafone, and the best NFT projects alongside huge institutions such as the United Nation.

Erhan Korhaliller, Founder of Istanbul Blockchain Week and CEO of Blockchain PR Agency EAK Digital has this to say about the upcoming exciting event:

The event will feature important names of the Web3 world such as Sébastien Borget the Co-Founder & COO of The Sandbox, David Chaum the inventor of digital cash, and Gleb Kostarev the Regional Head of Asia at Binance.

Web3 gaming side of Istanbul Blockchain Weekly

IBW will see some globally renowned talents and experienced names as guests. Yoshihisa Hashimoto, the former CTO of Square Enix, a name who personally oversaw the Final Fantasy and Sonic Unleashed brands leading voices from gaming/fashion/music/entertainment for a big celebration of Web3 culture.

Istanbul Blockchain Weekly will offer attendees access to panels, events, and discussions on investment; privacy, metaverse plus NFTs, and government policy from around the globe.

The world’s first live Web3 Esports Tournament

Istanbul Blockchain Weekly will feature the world’s first live Web3 Esports tournament, W3E. The tournament is created by gamers, for gamers. Its goal is to put blockchain-based gaming at the heart of the conversation.

IBW’s main partner for the tournament is EV.io, a fast-paced first-person shooter game on the Solana blockchain. The tournament will take place at the ESA Esports Arena, and will include multiple teams from across Europe and Asia competing for a $15,000 prize pool and the chance to take home the inaugural W3E Championships trophy – including an NFT version of the trophy as well.

NFT Day will take place on the 14th of November, and will provide a deep dive into the transformative world of blockchain-based digital collectibles. Panels and events will discuss NFTs’ role in the metaverse, how NFTs will change the future of ownership, how to spot the most exciting projects that will lead us into the future, and more.

If you’re interested in seeing first-hand some of the most exciting collections, there will also be an NFT Gallery for attendees to feast their eyes on. Speakers from top NFT projects such as Lazy Lions, Hape, and Kusama Kings are already confirmed to speak at the event with more set to be announced soon.
