Konami announced its financial results for the nine months ending December 2021, reporting revenue to $1.8 billion, up 12% year-on-year.
Operating profit ratios also increased and reached 525 million dollars with a 48.8% growth. Konami’s digital entertainment segment reached $1.3 billion, up 6.4% year-on-year revenue.
Mobile highlights included the strong performances of Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links and eFootball PES 2021 worldwide, while Professional Baseball Spirits and Jikkyou Pawafuru Puro Yakyu managed to dominate the Japanese market.
With NFTs among its plans, the company reiterated its intention to sell NFTs “to preserve content loved by customers as souvenirs.”
