Recently, Carlos Mas Rodriguez was appointed as the Vice President of Game Products for Homa Games. Previously Director of Product Management for Scrabble Go at Scopely, the new VP will lead a team of game developers to guide them to bring their games to the next level and will bring valuable experience to contribute to the company’s expansion to new game genres.
What does Rodriguez plan to change and improve at Homa Games?
Homa Games’ mission is to unlock the creativity of game developers by leveraging their in-house technologies and expertise. Carlos Mas Rodriguez will build an in-house “Live Ops” team dedicated to improving the user experience for strategic games and increasing profitability through feature development and optimization. In addition, the new Vice President aims to provide a comprehensive experience in board games that will strengthen Homa Games’ transition to casual games.
About the newly created position, Mas Rodriguez made the following comments:
“Homa has built an impressive machinery in which games are shipped and tested at the speed of light. I believe there is a huge potential to be unleashed once we develop the infrastructure to optimize and operate the games at that same speed.”
Mas Rodriguez, former Director of Product Management at Scopely for the top board game Scrabble Go, has extensive experience executing strategies for games from startup to scaling and worldwide launch. Headquartered in Spain, he was responsible for launching Scopely’s product operations at the first internal studio in Barcelona and held a management position as part of the leadership team.

Following the addition of senior talent from Voodoo to strategic positions, the creation of a new Vice President role reinforces Homa Games’ commitment to building experienced, high-performing teams to continue its growth. There are currently several open positions for the new Live Ops team.
