Playrix, the mobile game development company has bought a new studio in Yerevan, Armenia for an undisclosed fee. Today in a press release we knew that Plexonic will join Playrix Group of companies. Also, its new name will be Playrix Armenia instead of Plexonic. Plexonic’s founder and CEO Gevorg Sargsyan will be leading the new studio. Furthermore, the team has already started working on a new casual mobile game.
Plexonic has developed more than 60 casual titles
The first Armenian game development studio was founded in 2008, since then it worked and launched 60 titles. Their most popular titles are Panda Jam, Pet Savers and Stretch. Gevorg Sargsyan, founder of Plexonic said in a statement the following:

The company started in 2004 as a casual game developer for PC. Since 2011 they have been focusing on free to play titles for smartphones and tablets. Many of their games such as Wildscapes, Homescapes, Gardenscapes, and township have consistently been among the Top 50 Grossing Apps for iOS and Google Play since their release.
