Tokyo Game Show is almost here, and Sony has decided it’s an excellent time to “Celebrate the creative contributions of the Japanese game development community.” The newest State of Play will air on September 14 at 1:00 am in Turkey.

The Japanese game industry giant announced the new episode with these words:

“State of Play returns tomorrow, Tuesday, September 13, with a new live broadcast at 3:00 pm Pacific Time, 6:00 pm Eastern Time, and 11:00 pm BST. You can watch it live on Twitch and YouTube.”

The broadcast generally includes trailers, in-game footage, and developer commentary. The newest episode will last approximately 20 minutes and will consist of ten games that will launch on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation VR2.

Capcom, one of Sony’s Japanese partners, had been very active lately and had already confirmed titles such as Resident Evil 4 Remake and a new Street Fighter. The company also announced an upcoming PlayStation VR2 support for Resident Evil Village. These reveals were already a part of the previous State of Play, so gamers will look for some fresh updates in the upcoming episode.

The previous State of Play episode was in June 2022. The show doesn’t have a specific date as the time between broadcasts varies from only eight days to a whopping 156. This recess is one of the longer ones, with 103 days, and it’ll be thrilling to see what Sony has in store for gamers worldwide.
