PlayStation bosses have created a new web page that shows all the PlayStation exclusive games that are available on PC. The current version of the official web page shows the games that are already available to purchase on Steam or Epic Games Store and a separate segment shows the exclusive games that will arrive on PC soon, like Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection.
The web page (called PlayStation Games on PC) also indirectly confirms that despite some rumors, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves will still arrive in 2022, but there’s still no set-in-stone release date yet. This edition will include Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and the standalone expansion Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.
There’s also a new FAQ section (frequently asked questions) answering pretty much every possible technical query players may have about PlayStation games on PC. Unfortunately, no Bloodborne news, though.
PlayStation continues to diversify
The Japanese video game giant is quite happy with how its games are performing, and PlayStation 5 sales crossed 21.7 million per Sony’s latest financial report. Earlier this year, Sony announced that the company is expecting over $300 million in revenue from PC game sales alone by the end of this year. Reaching this number is a big challenge, however, Sony also closed the acquisition of Bungie in mid-July this year, which will boost the PC-related numbers immensely.
The console maker has been investing in the mobile games industry as well; PlayStation Mobile is being led by former Apple Arcade content boss Nicola Sebastiani. The gaming entity said many PlayStation-exclusive titles will make their way to mobile eventually, and the mobile games division is expected to grow in importance over time.
However, the tech giant’s rival Microsoft continues to grow Xbox, its gaming brand, with an aggressive acquisition strategy. Sony doesn’t mind the competition, but officially voiced its worry about losing the Call of Duty franchise to Xbox and PC.
