Supercell, the Finland-based development company, has announced yet another title drop after Clash Quest. The 12-year-old company has decided to end Everdale development after concluding that the game is not up to Supercell’s standards.

The announcement also mentions that players that have invested in in-app purchases can transfer said investment into other Supercell games such as Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, Hay Day, Boom Beach, and Brawl Stars. Soft-launch games have been excluded from this list.

The company used these sentences to share sentiments and thoughts on ending the development of Everdale:

“It is with a very heavy heart that we inform you that the team has decided to end the development of Everdale. We’re very proud of the world we built in Everdale, and we’re grateful for the player community who helped us make the game better with each update. Although we gave it our all, it became clear to us that Everdale does not meet our ambitions for a Supercell game.”

Players still have some time to enjoy the game, although any progress will obviously be deleted when the servers shut down. In the announcement, Everdale’s final day of activity has been specified as October 31. Supercell had previously announced the cancellation of Clash Quest on August 17.

The announcement on Supercell’s official page marks the company’s cancellation of two of its four in-development games in a relatively short amount of time. The other two games, Clash Mini and Clash Heroes are still under development.
