The nominees of The Game Awards 2020, known as the most prestigious awards in the gaming world, have been announced. The ceremony will take place on December 10th.

Among Us, Call of Duty Mobile, Genshin Impact, Legends of Runeterra, and Pokémon Café Mix have been nominated in the Best Mobile Games category of The Game Awards 2020.

Among Us, launched in 2018, has suddenly increased its popularity this year, becoming the most downloaded game of October.

As a rival to Among Us, Activision’s Call of Duty: Mobile also found its place in the Best Mobile Games category. The game, which has proven its popularity since its launch in October 2019, has surpassed 300 million downloads in a year. Besides, Call of Duty: Mobile looks like it will hit $500 million in revenue soon.

Another important name in the category was MiHoYo’s Gendhin Impact. The open-world game, which was downloaded 23 million in its first week, grossed $245 million in October.

The last two nominations for Best Mobile Game are Legends of Runeterra by Riot Games and Pokemon Cafe Mix by Genius Sonority.

PlayStation was the publisher nominated in the most categories this year. The company’s adventure game The Last of Us Part II, which was nominated in 22 categories, was nominated in 10 categories.
