Unity Technologies’ vice president of productions Ulas Karademir joins the advisory board of Istanbul-based mobile games studio Vertigo Games.

Karademir is a true Unity veteran, having worked for the tech giant for nearly seven years and still going. He’s been leading several teams across the company since 2015, and before that, he worked at Better Collective as the product development director, winning eight Gazelles awards.

Ulas Karademir also worked for IO Interactive — the AAA studio behind the highly acclaimed Hitman series— as the technical producer. He’s been a key part of developing the Glacier 2 game engine. Karademir will work with Vertigo in an advisory capacity on future metaverse strategies, supporting its partnerships with brands, publishers, artists, and metaverse platforms.

Vertigo Games co-founder Ali Sayın spoke to Mobidictum and said, “Ulas Karademir has been a key player across multiple projects, Hitman being one of the major eye-catchers. His experience will show us the way to further success and he’ll help us create a stronger bond with the Unity team. Ulas will enhance and improve our technical capabilities.”

Vertigo Games stands out with their hit game Critical Strike, but the Turkish company is also working on a new title dubbed Project X. The studio aims to release the game this year.
