Vertigo Games reveals five times revenue growth for Critical Strike

The title surpassed the 90 million download milestone and currently boasts an impressive 4.7-star rating on the Google Play Store.

Turkish independent mobile games studio Vertigo Games’ Critical Strike has shown a 477% growth in revenue in a year-over-year comparison. The multiplayer FPS title has amassed more than a million downloads, growing %213 in that area as well, between November 2021 and November 2022.

Critical Strike has become widely popular, as the game surpassed the 90 million download milestone on August 2022. The title currently boasts an impressive 4.7-star rating on the Google Play Store.

Ali Sayın, Co-Founder of Vertigo Games, shared this statement on his official LinkedIn page:

“Amazing growth for Critical Strike! Critical Strike is the number two FPS game in the world. Five times growth since last year, and also the only growing FPS game. Vertigo team, thanks for this amazing job. Best team ever. We will keep growing.”

Vertigo Games was founded by Ali Sayın and Murat Sayın in 2013. The almost 10-year-old independent Turkish gaming company is also known as a self-publishing company.

The company is currently working on its next title, dubbed Project X. The game has a teaser trailer on YouTube that shows both first-person and third-person action gameplay with cartoonish graphics.

Vertigo Games is looking to expand its team, and there are many roles currently available on their website. The company is looking to fill positions such as Game Developer, 3D Artist, Product Manager, Data Analyst, Marketing Manager, 2D Artist, and Game Tester.
